By LAURA AUSTIN News Review Staff Writer– Authorities busted two local unlicensed growers with a combined 795 illegal cannabis plants in the Indian Wells Valley (IWV) Wednesday. The Department of Cannabis Control Law Enforcement Division served two search warrants in the IWV East Kern County on Tuesday.
The search warrant locations were 5955 Brown Road, Inyokern, where authorities uncovered 584 cannabis plants and $481,800 worth of cannabis. The Officers Relocated To 543 N. El Prado Dr., in Ridgecrest, where they seized 211 cannabis plants worth $174.075 from that location.
Locals of the Inyokern and Ridgecrest area reported seeing a helicopter and several unmarked law enforcement vehicles during the operation.
