THE RIDGECREST CHAMBER OF COMMERCE —
On June 3, 2022, AltaOne Federal Credit Union (AltaOne) completed its acquisition of the Ridgecrest location of Mission Bank. Data and systems conversions were completed over the weekend and the location opened as a branch of the credit union on Monday, June 6, 2022. AltaOne has retained all Mission Bank employees, and Solomon Rajaratnam, formerly Mission Bank Ridgecrest Manager, has become Director of Member Business Lending for the credit union.
The acquisition increases the credit union’s footprint in the Indian Wells Valley and expands its business banking and lending offerings.
AltaOne CEO, Stephanie Sievers, stated, “Completing the acquisition of the bank branch on June 4th was the culmination of the hard work and dedication of our amazing team at AltaOne. This feels more like a homecoming than a welcoming since we have spent many months planning and awaiting the new members official onboarding as part of our AltaOne family.”
The new branch has been named the Ridgecrest North Branch and is located at 1450 N Norma St, Ridgecrest CA 93555. The full-service branch is open Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm, includes Drive-Up Teller service, an ATM and a Night Depository.
With the acquisition complete, this brings AltaOne’s number of branches to 12 with three branches in the Indian Wells Valley plus nine other branches across Kern and Inyo counties.
