Altrusa International of Indian Wells Valley just completed another very successful KidSpree. We were able to give 55 children warm winter clothing. We couldn’t have done this without the help of some very generous organizations and individuals. First, we would like to thank WalMart for their cooperation from managers to employees. They were helpful and provided us with what we needed to run the event. We were also supported by generous donations from WACOM and the Evan Etoch Memorial Foundation. Along with Altrusa’s donation, these donors provided the funds for the clothing the children received. Gathering the necessary chaperones was no small feat, but the people of Ridgecrest once again came through! They are so giving of their time and efforts to help these children. A big thanks also goes to the Friends of Rachel Club at BHS for their assistance with chaperoning. These kids are outstanding. We are blessed to live in a community where things like KidSpree can happen. We are already looking forward to next year’s event.
