The 37th Annual IWV Economic Outlook Conference is Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the Kerr McGee Center, 100 W. California Ave. For a glimpse into Ridgecrest’s economic future, business and industry leaders attend the annual Indian Wells Valley (IWV) Economic Outlook Conference (EOC), organized by the Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce. The conference provides insight into current, local, state, and national economies and addresses topics of interest to the community.
A combination of nationally known speakers and local experts provides perspective on business, industry, education, and government issues. As the premiere economic forecast event in the region, speakers discuss the state of the local economy, the outlook for the year ahead, and the domestic and international policy changes that might affect local markets and business.
The 2024 Economic Outlook Conference will occur in person at the Kerr McGee Center on February 22nd. Beginning at 7:00 am with a Business Expo and Networking Breakfast, the program starts promptly at 8:00 am. The EOC will take an in-depth look at the Ridgecrest Outlook, Local Industry Outlook, and a business panel focusing on employee recruitment and retention strategies.
