Auditions for ‘The Sky’s the Limit’

Master Mystery Productions Daniel Stallings– Master Mystery Productions returns with a cloud-hopping, sky-surfing mystery play aboard a steampunk airship called “The Sky’s the Limit,” and we need actors. Aboard the Vesper high above the Atlantic Ocean, two rival reporters—Charlotte Collins and Louisa Cahill—are racing around the world to beat the fictional 80-day record. But after a missed travel connection, they have whisked away aboard Sir Hugo’s private airship for a quick jaunt across the Pond.

But why is the ship they meant to take still in the harbor? Why does Sir Hugo know so much about their itineraries? And why won’t their editors respond to their questions? The daring duo will have to tangle with secret societies, marvelous machines, and a shocking international plot while suspended in the clouds.

The sky’s the limit to what humans can accomplish…and these reporters are going to find out just how far certain people will go to keep their secrets safe. We are holding auditions for actors on Friday, January 27, and Saturday, January 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Red Rock Books. Actors will read selected passages from Daniel Stallings’ script. No theatrical experience is necessary, and all levels of performers are welcome to audition. Rehearsals will be scheduled following auditions based on actor availability. Performances are scheduled for April 28 and 29 at Moe’s Music.
