Behavioral health positions available at Career Expo

Kern Behavioral Health & Recovery Services Mitchall Patel– Kern Behavioral Health & Recovery Services (KernBHRS), in partnership with its contract providers, will be hosting a Fall Career Expo on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. geared at hiring anyone interested in working in the behavioral health field. Openings will be for clinical and nonclinical positions from office support staff, analyst, accountants and more. Professionals and upcoming graduate students who want to begin their career in Behavioral Health are encouraged to attend. The event will be held at KernBHRS Administration Office parking lot, 2001 2801 28th St., Bakersfield, CA 93301.

 The behavioral health field is growing, and KernBHRS and several of its contract providers, including Flood Ministries, Clinica Herietta Weill Memorial child Guidance Clinic & Adult Behavioral Health, Clinica Sierra Vista, Unicorn Garden, New Start Youth Facility, Inc. and more are all looking to find the right individuals to help their clients meet their hope and recovery goals. Several nursing, therapist and recovery specialist (case management) positions – including both full-time and extra-help – are available. On-the-spot interviews for some positions will also be held.

 The Career Expo will open to the general public. Candidates are asked to come dressed to interview and bring copies of their resumes.
