Indian Wells Valley Water District Ridgecrest — The Indian Wells Valley Water District General Manager, Don Zdeba has announced his retirement effective August 11, 2023. The Board of Directors of the District is grateful to Don for his more than 11 years of excellent service.
After an extensive search and vetting process, the Board is pleased to announce that George Croll has been selected as the new General Manager and will report on September 1, 2023. Croll comes to the District from Vandenberg Air Force Base, where he has worked for the past 20 years in various positions. Croll is currently the General Manager and supervises Depot Maintenance activities supporting various on-base activities and off-base infrastructure. Croll is an avid off-roader and has spent significant time in the high desert area, including Ridgecrest.
The Board looks forward to working with Croll to deliver the highest quality water at the best possible price while continuing to serve as respectful stewards of the environment.
Croll and his wife Susan are excited to join the Ridgecrest community.
