Kern County Fire Department– On the afternoon of March 15, at the 1400 Block of N Brown Rd, multiple calls reported a fire in either a Burger Shop, Thrift store, or Shed—unknown exact building type, or if persons were inside. Kern County Firefighters arrive on the Scene of A fully involved structure fire. During a high wind event, buildings were threatened on all sides, and power was compromised. SCE was requested to respond to the scene. Firefighting started at the main fire (a shed) while protecting other threatened buildings nearby. Firefighters from the KCFD station in Inyokern completed a search for victims inside and found none. No injuries were reported—estimated damages of $6,000 and estimated property value saved of $11,000. Cause Undetermined.
