Five new CA Labor Law employers should prepare for

The Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce– CalChamber employment law expert Matthew Roberts and CalChamber policy advocate have discussed five new labor laws employers should know and prepare for: SB1162, AB152, AB1949, AB1041 and SB1044. 

“The California legislative session has come to a close and this year there are a number of new labor laws that really affect employers,” Roberts says. 

Unless stated otherwise, these new employment laws will take affect January 1, 2023.
