By Laura Quezada News Review Staff Writer–

This Saturday, April 15, at 6:30 pm,  join music fans at Joshua Hall at the Desert Empire Fairgrounds for The Foreseers Haunted California Record Release Show.  These musicians produced what may be the first vinyl record from Ridgecrest.

Foreseers album

Nine years ago, the Foreseers hit the local music scene as The Duendes. They created an innovative music video shot at the Trona Pinnacles in 2015. In 2017 they released an album, Weekend Demons. One year ago, they released their Mercury Transfer album.

The band consists of Ryan Smith on drums, Tommy Moorehead on vocals and guitar, and Jason Knight on vocals and bass. Smith categorizes their music as  “Post-hardcore/emo.”

Locally, you may have caught them at Moe’s Music Store in 2016 with Six Feet Over and The Whatevers at the Historic USO Building, an earthquake relief concert in 2019 at the Desert Empire Fairgrounds. Recently they hit the road to Palmdale to play at Transplants Brewing Company.

There is a $10 cover charge; Casa Corona will host a bar.
