Craig Moyle Stantec September 6, 2023– The Indian Valley Wells Groundwater Authority (IWVGA), as lead agency pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, announced today an extension for agency and public comments for preparation of a draft Environmental Impact Report for the Imported Water Pipeline Project. Initially scheduled through Aug. 31, 2023, the comment period has been extended until September 20, 2023. Written comments may be submitted in person or by U.S. Mail to the addresses below or provided by email to either address. Comments sent by U.S. Mail must be postmarked on or before September 20, 2023.
The extension of the comment period is in response to requests received during public scoping meetings held by IWVGA in the communities of Ridgecrest and California City on August 23, 2023, and August 24, 2023, respectively.
Comments on the proposed scope and content of the EIR may be submitted in writing to the attention of:
