Guide Dogs for the Blind Ridgecrest Puppy Raising Club Kay Blachly– Want a volunteer service project that is both warm and fuzzy?
Volunteer puppy raisers and their families receive a pup from Guide Dogs for the Blind when they are approximately 8 weeks old, and for a year or more, they will teach the puppy they are raising good manners and provide socialization experiences to prepare these future canine heroes for formal guide dog training. Puppy clubs also need puppy sitters as well as club volunteers.
To learn more about joining the Guide Dogs for the Blind Ridgecrest Puppy Raisers as a raiser, sitter, or club volunteer, RSVP 760-793-2840, today to attend our Meet & Greet on October 11, 2022 at 6:00PM. The Meet & Greet will be held at The California Welcome Center, 880 N. China Lake Blvd.
