The Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert (HSUMD)– The Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert’s first Classic Movie Night in December 2022 will fall on Wed., December 7 at 7 pm.
This date has a hallowed place in our nation’s history–the surprise attack on our forces in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in December 1941. So, a special showing of history is planned for that evening.
To be presented at the Historic USO Building are short films entitled “Attack on Pearl Harbor”, an episode of the esteemed documentary series, “War Stories,” and another entitled “How Pearl Harbor Changed the Course of History.” This movie is part of the series, “The Pacific War.”
Their famous Snack Bar will be open at 6:30. Admission is, always, donation, only. Parking is now available on both sides of the building.
