On Wednesday morning at 7:57 AM, Kern County Fire Fighters and Sheriffs Deputies responded to 1616 Saguaro St. in Inyokern, to multiple reports that a mobile home was on fire. Upon arrival, the first responders encountered a double-wide mobile home fully involved in flames. Deputies secured the scene as Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire while conducting searches for potential victims. / Laura Austin Photos
The fire was knocked down approximately one hour after firefighters arrived on the scene. Both the primary and secondary searches found no persons inside. The cause of the blaze, as of press time, is undetermined.
