 Jaime Sandoval

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our father, Jaime Sandoval. Surrounded by his family in his final moments, he left us on July 28, 2024, at the age of 65. After years of fighting, Dad won his battle and now sits at the feet of Jesus.

The youngest of 5 children, Jaime was born in Dinuba, CA, on January 3, 1959, to Pedro and Jennie Sandoval.

After joining the Ridgecrest community in 1978, he worked at Channel 3 News, Northrop, and Kmart, but is most remembered for his time at Walmart and McDonald, where he was a proud graduate of Hamburger University.

Our dad was a man of immense strength, humor, and wisdom who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His passion for his family, fishing, the Shop, the Dodgers, and the Green Bay Packers, as well as his unwavering spirit, will forever be remembered.

His four daughters survive him: Jessica Krall, Dana Griffin (Jerry), LeAngela Sandoval (Bri), Larena Blanton (Joey), 13 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous family and friends who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, his mother, father, and brother Ricardo.

Services will be held at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church on August 23 in Ridgecrest. A rosary will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00. Graveside service will be held on September 13 at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba, CA.

God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be… so he put his arms around you And whispered, Come with me. With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer and saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, and working hands were put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
