On March 9th, 2024, James “Jim” Goulet, 82, passed away peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord.

Jim Goulet

Jim was born on November 28, 1941, in Ridgecrest to Marshall and Eva Goulet. He attended Ridgecrest schools, worked at his parents’ Variety Store, and graduated from Burroughs High School in 1960. He married his high school sweetheart, Marietta Martinez. Together, they had three boys and lived in Ridgecrest for several years. He worked at Mission Federal Credit Union as their president for many years.

Jim was a God-loving person.  He encouraged people to have faith and love the Lord. He had the ability to make anyone smile and his kindness radiated outward and touched the lives of many people. His family and friends will dearly miss him.

He is survived by his wife “Teddy” of 65 years, and their three sons, Rick (Jodie), Mike (Becca), and Troy. He was a proud Grandpa to nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his older sister, Vivian Ryno, of Ridgecrest and several extended family members.

A ceremony to honor his life will be held at Mission Hills Church, 400 Mission Hills Ct, San Marcos, CA, on April 4th at 4 p.m.
