Karl Giovanne Henderson

Karl Giovanne Henderson was born November 9, 1959, to Albert and Arline Henderson. He was the fifth of nine children. As a young child, he loved to fix things and worked hours figuring out what needed to be done.

Karl attended Pioneer Elementary School and Vanguard Junior High in Compton, California. His family later moved to Liberty, Texas, where Karl attended high school. Karl was an excellent swimmer. His mother drove all over to his swim meets. He enjoyed Boy Scouts and earned the most medals in his troop. He loved raising homing pigeons. Karl’s best times were playing marbles with his siblings and friends.

 Karl accepted Christ at an early age at Traveler’s Rest Baptist Church in Los Angeles, California.

 Karl is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Arline Henderson, brother, Ronnie Johnson, and sister, Julie Stoudemire.

 He is survived by four brothers, Edward Johnson and Gerald Johnson, both of Ridgecrest, California, Danny Henderson of Los Angeles, California, and Anthony Henderson of Long Beach, California; two sisters, Vickie Henderson of Ridgecrest, California, and Esta Bradwell of Portland, Oregon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
