Kel’ey Hitt (aka Keli Haefele) was born March 3rd, 1961. She lived in Ridgecrest, CA, and passed away on July 19th, 2023. She was born to Dona and Dick Hitt in the city of Ridgecrest. She grew up with her two brothers, John and Donald Hitt.
Kel’ey was very much a people person and loved spending time with her friends and family whenever she got the chance. Her greatest passion was loving others and doing whatever she could to be helpful. She loved sharing her faith and trying to help others find theirs. She also enjoyed a good pool tournament with her friends. The celebration of the life of Kel’ey Hitt will take place November 12, 10 am, at The Lighthouse Worship Center in Ridgecrest. We will also be holding a pool tournament in honor of Kel’ey at 1 pm at DJ’s Pub, her favorite place to play.
She is survived by her longtime companion Joe, her brother Donald Hitt, sister-in-law Sheryl Hitt (Karrie, Kathryn, and Kylan), sister-in-law Lesley Hitt (Logan and Megan), son Joshua Haefele, daughter-in-law Christa Haefele (Joshua and Addyson), daughter Rebekah Haefele, son David Haefele, daughter-in-law Whitney Haefele (Barrett), daughter Crystal Johnston, son-in-law Deno Johnston (Tristan, Alexander, Elizabeth), and adopted daughter Trina Singer (Zaaphyr Persephanie).
