Michael Eberhart was born on October 18, 1976, in Ridgecrest, California, to Henry (Hank) and Linda Eberhart. He went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2023.
Michael attended locally at Vieweg Elementary School and Murray Middle School and graduated from Burroughs High School in 1994. He played soccer with the Scorpions Soccer Club
and for Burroughs High School. Michael graduated from Cerro Coso Community College with an Associate’s Degree and later from Cal State University Long Beach with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Besides being away at college, he lived his entire life in Ridgecrest. Michael worked for 15 years for the US Post Office in Ridgecrest as a letter carrier and a trainer before working for the Department of the Navy at China Lake, CA. At the time of his death, he was working in shipping and receiving for NAVSUP at China Lake.
Michael’s hobbies included fishing and camping with his family. He also enjoyed family game nights. Michael enjoyed working with his hands, often creating items from wood and working on his trucks.
His family and friends will greatly miss him.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, April 13, with the Rosary at 5 PM at Holland & Lyons Mortuary at 216 S. Norma St. in Ridgecrest.
The funeral mass is Friday, April 14, at 10 am at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 446 W. Church St. in Ridgecrest, followed by graveside services at Desert Memorial Park.
