Ralph Jorgensen Jr, age 72, passed away of natural causes on May 6, 2023, in Littleton, CO. He was born on May 22, 1950, in Long Beach, CA. He was the son of the late Ralph Jorgensen SR. and Marion Gertrude Bauer. As a young man, he was very bright and tenacious. During his high school years, he doubled up with college courses and graduated from Lakewood High School. After high school, he started his career as a civil servant with the Department of Defense at the Naval Shipyard in Long Beach, CA.

In 1973 he was transferred to the Naval Weapons Center in China Lake, CA, where he performed various career stepping stones. He ultimately finished his career running the beacon shop to track radar at China Lake Naval Weapons Center. He retired at the age of 55 in 2005. He was a talented cook, and his passions were fishing, camping, jet skiing, beer drinking, and chasing women.
Ralphs is survived by three sons; Ralph (Heather) Jorgensen III, Brian (Kelly) Jorgensen, and Brandon Jorgensen. Five grandchildren; Ralph and Rachel Jorgensen, Trenten (Nikki), Aireana, Ashton Jorgensen, and one great-grandchild, Zyaire. One sister, Jamie Heine, and four brothers; Ron, Jay, Mike, and Jeff Jorgensen.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 11:00 am at All Souls Catholic Chapel in Long Beach, CA, with burial to follow. There will be a family gathering after the service.
