Respect for Law Recognition Dinner to be held March 23

By LAURA Austin News Review Staff Writer—The Ridgecrest Elks Club will host the 28th Annual John S. Ward Respect for Law Recognition Dinner on Saturday, March 23rd.

Officers from the Ridgecrest Police, China Lake Police, Kern Co. Sheriff, CA Highway Patrol, and NCIS will receive the honor of Officer of the Year.

The event will be held at the Kerr McGee Community Center at 100 W California Ave.  Social Time will start at 5:30 P.M., followed by dinner at 6:00 P.M. The program will begin at 7:00 P.M.

The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of China Lake, Kiwanis Club of Ridgecrest, Ridgecrest Lions Club, Women’s Center High Desert Inc., Ridgecrest Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus, Operation Family Fund, Judith Ward, American Legion Riders #684, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and AltaOne Federal Credit Union.

Admission is $35.00 per person. There will be a no-host bar available.
