Ridge Writers East Sierra Branch Ridge Writers will hold an Open Mic night on Thursday, August 3, starting at 6:30 pm in the meeting room of Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church, 633 W. Las Flores. Public welcome. No admission charge.
Ridge Writers members invite the general public to join them in reading and sharing their original works, 5-7 minutes are allowed for each speaker in any genre though the content may not be political and must be in good taste.
Light refreshments will be served.
Ridge Writers is the East Sierra Branch of the 114-year-old California Writers Club (calwriters.org) that, has 22 branches throughout the state and traces its roots back to Jack London and his friends in the Bay Area.
