Ridgecrest Police Officers recognized Friday March 15

Last Friday, March 15, The Ridgecrest Police Department had its annual police department recognition awards dinner. (Above) Eleven Ridgecrest Police officers were recognized for Life-Saving Events in 2023, including the following officers:  Officer Robert Henderson, Officer Andrew Solorzano, Officer James Quiroz, Officer Michael Ogas, Detective Briana Stangle, Sergeant Nathan Lloyd, Sergeant Laura Kenney, Officer Gabriel Coe, Officer Ryan Smith, Officer Michael Pettit, Officer Jeremiah Lloyd, Sergeant Erik Hallmark, Officer Logan Bebee, Officer Kyle Cushman, Officer Corey Rinaldi. The officers were publicly recognized throughout the year during Council meetings for their heroic deeds.  Several other awards were given. The following are the recipients. Reserve of the Year went to Marty Dorrell, Employee of the Year; Amber Peterson, Officer of the Year; Jeremiah Lloyd, Supervisor of the Year; Ryan Marrone, Certificates of Service –4 yrs. – Reserve Officer Randy King, 8 yrs. – Officer Corey Rinaldi, 24 yrs. – Captain Justin Dampier, Letter of Commendation –9/14/23 Officer Robert Henderson, and Officer Ryan Smith, Certificate of Merit – Detective Briana Stangle,  Sergeant Nathan Lloyd, Jimmy Song,  Sergeant Bill Groves, Antoinette Agostinacci, Detective Daniel Pietrangelo, and Detective Jayson Arnold,  Award of Excellence –  Officer Michael Ogas.
