Salvation Army Community Appreciation Celebration

Salvation Army RIdgecrest Lt. Gina Noble Corps Officer– In appreciation of our community, The Salvation Army is having a celebration with extended hours at our Thrift Store, located at 151 N. Downs St. We will be open Friday afternoon September 30th from 2pm-6pm and Saturday, October 1st from 8am-4pm.

We will be giving away pumpkins and treats for all kids who come with their parents to check out the store on Friday.  We will serve breakfast burritos and cinnamon roll sticks in the morning and hot dogs in the afternoon for those who visit on Saturday.  We have lots of Halloween costumes and harvest décor displayed, and your gracious giving has the store well stocked with treasures of many kinds. 

The Salvation Army appreciates the generous giving of household donations and drive thru receipt will resume at 8am on Wednesday, October 7th  The quality items that you donate are provided at no cost to families and seniors in need, through our store voucher program.  Our model of Restoring Lives in Ridgecrest, and neighboring communities, One Amazing Soul at a Time, through the programs our thrift store funds is effective.  We also sell what is donated, at a great value, in our thrift store regularly open Wed-Fri 8am-12pm.  We recycle what cannot be sold.  Thank you for your continued support and we hope you will drop by this weekend and celebrate.
