The Salvation Army Ridgecrest Gina Noble– The Salvation Army Ridgecrest requests your financial support of our 2023 Community Campership Campaign.
We are sending 100 youth aged 8-17, from Ridgecrest & neighboring communities, to our Camp Redwood Glen in the Santa Cruz Mountains. For over 75 years, we have been giving underserved youth the opportunity to attend a week of residential summer camp.

Many children will attend camp at no cost or no more than $25 a day cost for the family. No child will be turned away if their family is unable to afford the camp fees. Many of the families The Salvation Army serves are working hard but are unable to meet the most basic financial needs. For these children, the opportunity to go to camp is not possible without community support. Camp provides for their basic needs and so much more. Camp is a wonderful opportunity to participate in mentoring programs that encourage children of all ages and build their self-esteem and confidence.

This year we are trying to reach a goal of raising $50,000 to send 100 kids to summer camp.
