Ridgecrest Police Department Sergeant N. Lloyd–
On Dec. 24, 2022, at approximately 6:50 PM, Officers responded to the 500 block of N. China Lake Blvd. regarding a vehicle traffic collision and the suspect vehicle fleeing the scene. Upon arrival, it was learned the suspect vehicle had intentionally struck the victim’s vehicle several times causing damage and injuries to the occupants of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect, later identified as Johnny Seciada, fled the scene but was located approximately 10 minutes later and taken into custody. The victims were medically treated on scene by EMS and the vehicle had to be towed due to the amount of damage it received. Secaida was later booked into the Kern County Jail in Mojave.
