Tehachapi Apple Festival coming October 15 and 16

The Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce Apple Festival– The 2022 Tehachapi Apple Festival is two days of “Applie Goodness” and is featuring tons of  new apple related items and food.  The festival is fun for everyone in the family including a great “Kidzone,” with inflatables for all day fun.  Other fun kid related activities including balloon car races, petting zoo, carnival games, corn hole contest, golf putting, face painting, rocket and robotics demos, plus more, many of them are FREE . 

Shoppers will love the hand crafted local artisan gifts and apple related items.  Local apple farmers will be selling apples and lots of other locally produced food products including apple pie, apple turnovers, apple nachos, and many other apple treats. We have clothing, candles, home decor, baked goodies, kids toys, crocs, jewelry, and so much more.

Live music can be enjoyed all day long in Centennial Plaza where you can sit and enjoy your food and the music. Just outside of Centennial Plaza in the middle of Green Street you can cheer on the contestants in the Apple Pie Eating Contest on Saturday OR ENTER or watch the apple pie baking contest on Sunday. 

Great new addition in 2022 -Vintage Trailer Show Sunday only, Oct 16th 10-4pm on F Street

We are also welcoming back the Apple Drop on Saturday at 4pm on F Street. A giant crane will drop 1000 apples onto a target on the street. – For $10 you have a chance to win $1000 gift card or second place $500 gift card if your apple lands on the bullseye. Apples are being sold by Lions and Rotary Members.

We’re excited for the return of the Puppet Shows Saturday and Sunday.

The Tehachapi Apple Festival is free to everyone.

A portion of the proceeds will also go to benefit several local charities including the Tehachapi Lions & Rotary Club of Tehachapi, Warrior Football Boosters, Tehachapi Wrestling Club, THS Cheerleaders,  Ladies Aux of American Legion, Windswept Ranch, Salvation Army Youth Group and others.
