Three vehicles collided in front of the Starbucks Coffee House

By LAURA AUSTIN News Review Staff Writer– Shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday morning, the Ridgecrest Police Department and Kern County Fire Department were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident scene. The emergency responders arrived at the corner of China Lake and Ward Ave to find three vehicles colliding in front of the Starbucks Coffee House.  According to Ridgecrest Police, the evidence and statements gathered at the scene show that a vehicle was turning right into Starbucks when traffic from behind slowed to a stop. Unaware of the slow-down, the white Cadillac collided with a Ford Crossover, which collided with the Chevrolet SUV that was making the turn. Paramedics evaluated all drivers and occupants, and minor injuries were reported. No one was transported to the hospital.
