Word came to The News Review on May 30 that on May 16, Ridgecrest Chamber Executive Director, Tim Smith, submitted his letter of resignation to the Chamber Board.
Chamber Board President Chris Hill, stated that “Mr. Smith and his family are excited about a new opportunity and season that recently presented itself, and this summer will be transitioning to Colorado. While we are sad to see Tim leave the Chamber and Ridgecrest as a whole, we are excited for him to pursue his passion and wish him well as he explores what’s ahead.”
Hill included that with Tim’s departure, the Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce finds itself in need of filling rather large shoes. The 76th Annual Ridgecrest Chamber Installation and Awards Luncheon will be held June 14 at the Historic USO Building. The cost of the luncheon is $30.
