Ridgecrest Tortoise Club Bob Parker– The Ridgecrest Tortoise Club is having its first meeting of the year on Monday, September 11th, at 7 p.m. at the Maturango Museum. We received a new order of chips, so we will be chipping tortoises that are brought in. We ask for a small donation to cover the cost of the chips and registering the chipped tortoise.
You can also register your desert tortoise and receive a sticker to further identify your tortoise should it escape. We’ll be there to answer questions on adoptions and anything else about turtles and tortoises. We do have a few males, a female, and some juvenile tortoises that are available.
