City staff and Waste Management (WM)representatives are committed to keeping the public informed about the changes under Senate Bill 1383 for sanitation services in Ridgecrest. To this end, we are hosting the third in a series of community forums to provide opportunities for citizens to get more information and directly engage on this specific topic.
Trash Talk Town Hall (#3) will be held on Wednesday, September 13th, beginning at 5:30 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall. This informal forum will be in the same style as previous Trash Talk Town Halls: City staff will provide a brief presentation leading into a Q&A session with representatives from WM. Councilman Kyle Blades will be moderating the Q&A session. There will be no time limit for individual comments, but we will ask that participants be respectful and keep questions and/or comments relevant to the topic (trash). This meeting will be broadcast live and allow call-in participation.
