WACOM is a Major Community Asset

To the Editor

On behalf of the Friends of the Ridgecrest Branch Library (FRBL), I want to thank WACOM for the support you have provided over the years.  WACOM has been a consistent provider of funding that has been of great help as the county library support has dwindled.

These past few years with a combination of earthquakes and pandemic have been very difficult.  Your grant has been a significant part of the funds that enable the Friends to continue to support the library and it’s programs. We have been able to provide a yearly summer reading program for Ridgecrest.  We have given supplies to enable the library to provide many programs, such as preschool story time, Teen Tech program, a Lego club, Barks and Books. Additionally, WACOM funding also helps us purchase books, magazines, newspapers, equipment, and furnishings for the library.

Your contributions to the non-profit organizations in the Indian Wells Valley are always welcome and always generous. We appreciate the support and applaud your efforts to make our community better in so many ways.

We are impressed that your organization has been a lasting community resource and is run entirely by volunteers. We are proud to live in a town that has so many dedicated people who support everyone with their efforts.
