The Indian Wells Valley Water District (District) is pleased to announce that the Court has ruled that Phase Two of the Basin Adjudication will occur in the coming months. This phase will focus on presenting scientific evidence regarding the safe yield of the basin, following Phase One, which will address Federal Reserved Rights.
This development is significant for the District and the entire region, as it will allow the Water District and other stakeholders to present their extensive research and data on the basin’s safe yield. The court will thoroughly examine these scientific findings, ensuring that decisions are based on robust and accurate information.
